In the Beginning
PJ (dalmatian pictured above) was my first dog and best friend. I got him as a puppy and we enjoyed many years together.
Lucky (remaining pictures) found me in December of 2000 as she was wandering the streets of Worcester. I knew the moment I saw her that she would be coming home with me. She was skin and bones. I took her to the local vets office only to be told she had severe heartworm. There was a 50/50 chance of her surviving if she underwent surgery. I didn't want her to suffer any longer but wanted to give her a chance. Lucky had the surgery and thrived with lots of TLC.
We shared 4 happy years together before old age caught up to her. I'd like to say it was the best 4 years of her life!
In April 2005, I started this dog sitting service. With the loss of two dogs, I am not yet ready to adopt another one...so I now pamper other people's dogs.
